Where do I begin?!?!? I can't say enough about Nick!!! His work ethic is exceptional as well as the quality of his work! He recently took some pictures of me....and I felt 100% comfortable with him. I live in New York City, and when I was in Oakland, Nick took the best professional photos I've ever had, and I was a professional model for a while! He has by far the best use of lighting, he's great at directing to get the right pose and facial expression, and his speed in having proofs to review is unmatched. His studio is easy to find near a freeway exit but up in the hills, and it's very open and comfy. He has a variety of backdrops, and he had some good tricks to help me with my tendency to blink with flashes. I've also seen his portfolio on his web site, and I was really amazed by how he is uniquely able to catch details and unposed scenes that reveal a lot of character. Nick is terrific to work with - adaptable, easygoing and professional to a T! Others have already extolled his ability to capture weddings, but I wanted to let people know he is also great at portrait photography and headshots for actors. I hired him to take professional headshots of 15 of my actor clients and every single one of them got a variety of pictures that were truly outstanding. So many of his shots were so great that the only complaint any of my clients had was their trouble choosing the best one! Literally over half of the pictures he took could have been used with no reservations or retouching necessary. Along with his ability to capture your best look, and the ease of working with him, he is amazingly reasonably priced. I would unhesitatingly recommend him the next time you have a need for ANY type of professional photography.

Nick is a great photographer. He is everything you need in a photographer for whatever event you're trying to capture. I had him do a friend's wedding and the pictures were so intense, he captured stuff I never thought possible. Angles and moments of love and happiness that were so unique.
